About Nonna's Italian Bistro

Nonna’s Italian Bistro is a family owned and operated business that started in Colorado in 1978.

Originally from Chicago, my family opened Johnnies on the north side of Chicago, in 1952. I carried on my family’s business bringing Chicago inspired food to Denver, Colorado.

​

Opening Red Hot Experience, which was a Chicago style deli that served Vienna products, was just a START! I opened five more delis and finally I settled in Greenwood Village in 1988 for twelve years with Ristorante Catalano, off Holly & Orchard.

I owned Nonna’s Chicago Bistro in Denver for 9 years but sold it to open my latest restaurant in September 2014, Nonna’s Italian Bistro in Centennial.
